Theme |
Recent development of massive sequencing technologies has open new perspectives for rapid acquisition of large amounts of transcriptomic and genomic data. Phylogenetic analyses based on large number of genes have successfully resolved some evolutionary problems. However, increasing number of genes does not seem to be sufficient in many cases. During the symposium, several examples of phylogenomic studies will be present and their advantages and limitations will be critically discussed |
