This course is open to students in the life sciences and engineering and mix theory and hands-on sessions. The aim is to give biologists a good knowledge in advanced microscopy and to make engineers aware of biological questions and needs. We will focus on optical sectioning biomicroscopy using biological models on several acquisition systems (laser scanning and spinning disk confocal microscopy). Note: The course is only open to PhD students. Registration is free. Deadline: one month before the beginning of the course. Accepted participants will be notified two weeks before the beginning of the course. |
