Each student must participate in one of the following events:
- present a paper in a Journal Club session
but the daily attendance at the Journal Club sessions is mandatory for everybody.
To enable us to constitute Journal Club groups (max. 6 students), please indicate below your preferences with regards to the speaker in whose session you wish to actively participate. Speakers who are leading the different Journal Clubs and the references for the papers will be displayed on the web page under “Journal Club Sessions”. It is up to the speakers to decide on the format of their sessions and this will be discussed with you at the beginning of the meeting.
We will form the different groups by the end of May and inform you by email. You should make contact within the group before the meeting, in order to distribute the papers to be presented and to decide who is going to prepare the transparencies/PowerPoint files for the presentations. In principle each student should be prepared to present one paper. In large groups it’s possible that 2-3 students will prepare one paper. The review articles should be read but not presented. |
